Disney Inspired Cheeseburger Egg Rolls

Ready to Chef like a Disney Chef with these Disney inspired cheeseburger egg rolls?

On this week’s episode of I am missing Disney foods so bad, I am cooking up some cheeseburger egg rolls! These rolls are usually found in Adventureland. Traditionally made with spring roll wrappers, which I actually think tend to hold onto more oil than egg roll wrappers. But don’t let that stop you from enjoying this recipe at home for yourself.

After exploring many recipes online, I tweaked my own to make it super delish. NO special tools required, although I would recommend making them in an air fryer vs. hot oil. The smell of hot cooking oil is pretty overwhelming and if you have sensitive foodies they may not be able to stomach the scent and it will ruin their appetite.


Disney Inspired Cheeseburger Egg Rolls

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 C white onion chopped
  • 6 oz Velveeta cheese cubed
  • 1/2 C dill pickles chopped
  • 2 T yellow mustard
  • 1 T Worcestershire
  • 12 Wonton/Egg roll or spring roll wrapper
  • 1 T vegetable oil plus extra for deep frying


  • Add one tablespoon of vegetable oil to a skillet heated over medium heat. Add onion and saute until translucent; about 5 mins.
  • Add ground beef and brown until no more pink remains; drain grease and return to pan.
  • Add cheese, mix until melted and fully incorporated. Add mustard, Worcestershire, and pickles. Mix and remove from heat.
  • Lay out wrapper like a diamond and spread 1/4 cup mixture. fold left and right points of wrapper in to hold mixture. Add a small amount of water to bottom point, roll over mixture, then add a small amount of water to top point and continue rolling until sealed. (over saturating wrapper can cause it to split).
  • Heat oil to 350 degrees. Add rolls in small batches and fry each side for 2-3 minutes until golden. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
